New Fulfillment Center

Recap of the last two weeks:

Evelyn and some others of our crew from Whole Health were instrumental in getting all of our product packaged for transport, and then we loaded it up in a trailer and headed straight to the new location so the supplements wouldn't get overheated enroute.  They've been resting in air-conditioned space the last two weeks while Dr Wells and I have relocated most of the contents from our home to set up our new homestead.  (More on that to come!!) 

New bin shelving arrives today (June 16) for assembly, and then I finally get to unbox everything and take inventory.  Once that's done, we'll be rocking and rolling!  We are aiming to ship out some orders on Thursday morning, to work out the kinks, and then hit on all cylinders starting on Monday.

Our New Digs:

We are fulfilling orders now from our homestead a few miles south of Fredericksburg, TX.  God has blessed us beyond what we could have imagined.  In addition to our home, we have a 1500 sq ft climate-controlled barndominium that will serve as the new home of Provisions.  Orders will be packaged and driven into town for drop-off with UPS on a daily basis while enroute to get our kids from school.  It works out perfectly!  You should still experience next-day delivery in most cases, if you live in central, south or southeast Texas.  While I'm not stocking supplements or filling orders, I'll be working with my bride (aka Dr Wells) on the many plans she has made to created garden beds, a duck pond, multiple bee hives, a new chicken coop, and a greenhouse.  This is definitely her kind of sabbatical!  As always, we cherish your prayers and are so very grateful for your trust in us.  

A lamentation on Credit Card processors:

I've about had it with bias against healthy living from the underwriters of credit card processors.  It's become easier to sell risqué and cringy merchandise online than it is to sell vitamins and supplements.  We were cancelled by our second merchant processor in the last 60 days just a couple of weeks ago for absolutely no reason.  Seriously, they gave no reason this time, and cancelled us a mere three weeks after approving us.  So I've officially had to go the route of the "high-risk" processors, as though I am selling something illicit.  If you didn't know, vitamins and supplements are referred to as "pseudopharmaceuticals" in the merchant underwriting world.  Yes, they call them "fake drugs", though they're often more effective.  Okay, I'm stepping off the soapbox now...

Suffice it to say, I am close to having another merchant processor secure.  It should be just another day or two.  Until then, you'll be relegated to using Paypal checkout for your purchases.
